In a harsh and judgmental world, dogs have become our shelter for unconditional love. They don’t care about our bank accounts, our job titles, or the size of our houses. They greet us with the same boundless enthusiasm whether we’ve had our best day or a terrible one. Their love is pure, genuine, and honest.
As not every story has a happy ending, similarly, not all dog breeds can be kept as pets, at least in India for sure. The government has banned more than 8 species due to their ferociousness or rare availability. Ferocious dogs due to their aggressive nature pose harm not only for their owners but also for people around them. Let’s delve down to get to know which dogs are illegal to keep:-
· Pit Bulls – Many individuals unknowingly keep this dog as a pet at their home, but Pit Bulls, including the American Pit Bull Terrier and the Bull Terrier, are among the breeds banned in several states in India.
