Pune | June 24: A 19-year-old bike rider died after being hit by an SUV car on Saturday night near Kalamb village in Manchar town on Pune Nashik Highway in the district of Pune in Maharashtra, said a rural police official of Pune.
The accused Mayur Sahebrao Mohite (34) has been arrested by the police officials.
It is found that the accused is the nephew of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) (Ajit Pawar faction) MLA Dilip Mohite Patil.
Meanwhile, the police have also registered an FIR under Section 304 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
