Lok Sabha Results: Major ‘Modi’-fication in Madhya Pradesh; Loss of seats in Uttar Pradesh

New Delhi | June 4: According to the latest data of the Election Commission of India, the Bharatiya Janata Party has won 120 seats and leading on 119 seats, whereas the Congress has won 51 seats and is leading on 48 seats of the parliamentary constituencies.

In this race, the BJP has lost its majority of the seats in Uttar Pradesh and Bengal.

Notably, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, the BJP is ahead on 31 seats, while other allies of NDA such as Rashtriya Lok Dal and Apna Dal are ahead on two and one seats respectively which is much lower than 2019 tally, as BJP has won 62 seats out of 80 in 2019.

The INDIA bloc has registered a strong performance with Samajwadi Party and Congress being ahead on 38 and 7 seats respectively.

While in a major fray, Bharatiya Janata Party has won 19 seats out of 29 and is leading on the remaining seats of the state of Madhya Pradesh.

In a surprise, the BJP has outperformed the elections as it has won two Lok Sabha seats and is leading on 17 seats of the state.

Bihar, one of the major states with 40 parliamentary constituencies holds a crucial shape in forming the shape of Indian politics and in Bihar the BJP led NDA has won 11 seats while its leading on 20 seats.

Various veteran leaders of Congress has criticized Bharatiya Janata Party remark of getting 400 seats and slammed the slogan of ‘Abhi Baar 400 Paar’.

Apart from these developments, it is reported that Bharatiya Janata Party will hold its cabinet meeting on tomorrow.
