Bipasha was born on January 7, 1979, in New Delhi. Later, her family moved to Calcutta. She is the second of three sisters and grew up in a Hindu Bengali family. Bipasha can speak Hindi, English, and Bengali. Her sisters are named Bidisha and Bijoyeta.
