Delhi Metro revises its timings, know what is for you

New Delhi | August 23: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has revised its timing on Sunday for the Phase-III metro corridors which includes Blue Line, Red Line, Green Line, Violet Line, Pink Line, Magenta Line and Grey Line.
In a big news, as per the new timing, the metro on these lines will operate early on different timings instead of 8am.
As per the new timings, the metro on Red Line, Blue Line, Violet Line and Green Line will run from 6am instead of 8am while that on Pink Line, Magenta Line and Grey Line, it will run from 7am.
These timings will be applicable from August 23, 2024, that is on Sunday.
This decision has been taken by the DMRC to benefit not only the commuters of these corridors but also number of students/applicants appearing for various competitive exams which generally take place on Sundays.


The extended timings will facilitate them to reach their destination centres across Delhi-NCR in a seamless and convenient manner.
In a social media post on X, DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation) wrote, “The regular Metro services on Sundays which used to commence from 8:00 AM onwards on the following Phase-III corridors now stands revised w.e.f this Sunday i.e, 25th August 2024. The revision of service commencement timings on these corridors on Sundays will benefit not only the commuters of these corridors but also number of students/applicants appearing for various competitive exams which generally take place on Sundays. The extended timings will facilitate them to reach their destination centres across Delhi-NCR in a seamless and convenient manner. Services on all other corridors of the Metro Network will continue to run as per regular commencement time of 06:00 AM onwards.”
Services on all other lines will remain on the same time.
