New Delhi | June 3: In this searing and scalding heatwave, a refreshing drink that keeps you cool is nothing less than a blessing. Although we all know the benefits of having refreshing drinks, but it is not wrong if we say we all are irresponsible when it is needed to consume, probably due to lack of recipes or numerous options. Worry not, we have a list of five healthy and most effective drinks in summers, that will not only keep you cool but also increase your immunity, metabolism and to some extent it will fulfil your nutritional take:- 

1.   Aam panna – The first comes in the list is a refreshing summer drink Aam Panna which is made from raw mangoes. It offers numerous benefits in hot weather including prevention from heat strokes and dehydration due to its cooling properties.

Aam Panna is rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, and C and it boosts the immune system and improves digestion. The drink also replenishes lost electrolytes, reducing fatigue and quenching thirst effectively. Additionally, its antioxidants support overall health, making it an ideal, nutritious beverage during summer.

2.   Bel sharbat – The soothing and refreshing drink called Bel Sharbat, made from wood apple (bael fruit), offers numerous benefits. It cools the body, aids digestion, and alleviates constipation.

This drink is rich in vitamins and antioxidants, it boosts immunity and provides relief from ulcers and respiratory issues. The natural sugar content provides energy, making it a refreshing and healthy drink.

3.   Shikanji – Shikanji is traditional lemonade, full of refreshment, is rich in vitamin C and aids immune function. It hydrates and replenishes electrolytes, making it ideal for hot weather.

4.   Sattu – With the power of superfoods, Sattu is a full-package meal! Indeed. This  is a popular drink in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Sattu is a powerhouse of plant-based protein and dietary fibre.
