Mumbai | July 4: After clearing the drought of 11 years of winning an ICC Trophy, Indian Men’s Cricket Team has finally arrived in India, and they have arrived in Mumbai at Wankhede Stadium and Indian Cricket Team (ICT) fans erupted in jubilation to celebrate the victory parade of team India on Thursday.
This win marked a historious moment for the 150-crore Indians.
After their arrival at the Wankhede Stadium, the Indian cricket players danced to the music of dhol at the event after their victory parade.
All the time in parade, the players were seen holding the trophy in their hands and celebrating the victorious moment with their fans.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), under the leadership of Secretary Jay Shah, and Vice-President Rajiv Shukla joined the celebrations and announced the funds of Rs. 125 crore to the Indian team.
Indian Skipper Rohit Sharma complimented all-rounder Hardik Pandya for his outstanding performance throughout the tournament and in the final match.
Meanwhile, earlier in the day, the team met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi who congratulated the team for their resounding win.
In the T20 World Cup Final Match between India and South Africa (Ind vs SA), the Indian team beat the SA team by 7 runs to clinch the trophy of ICC and become “Undefeated Champions”.
